This book was published in connection with a retrospective exhibition held to celebrate 50 years of the artist's work. Having trained in traditional Chinese brush painting techniques, Tan moved on, as he says,  from "imitating nature' to "presenting nature" using eastern gouache, oils and other media. The book includes a CD of the works. 312 pages with about 100 colour photographs of the works exhibited and accompanying text in Chinese, English and Malay. Weight: 2 kg.
