Timonius in Borneo
---
Junhao Chen & Khoon Meng Wong
Timonius is a little documented member of the Rubiaceae family of flowering plants, commonly known as the coffee, madder, or bedstraw family. In research for this groundbreaking work the authors document 94 species of Timonius including 68 newly recognised species. Generally only 96% of the genus is endemic to Borneo. The book includes discussions on the morphology, biology and reproductive ecology of Timonius and related plants, and is illustrated by 294 figures and 58 botanical line-drawings.
