This is the eventful autobiography of a truly great Asian, of whom is not much known. Born in Sri Lanka, then Ceylon, he became a fearless editor of the Straits Echo, Penang's leading English language newspaper for most of the last century, led the citizens' committee that grudgingly handed over Penang to the Japanese and then went back to Sri Lanka to become a leading diplomat at the time of the formation of the Non-Aligned Movement. There is a foreword by Malcolm Macdonald. Good Paperback First Edition 215 pages with several black and white plates. For further details, please see the scanned contents page.
