Bryan's aim is to show how often without chaplains prisoners started to give each other spiritual and moral uplift and to give each other hope and encouragement for the future. Included in this book is sketches, paintings and photographs of the makeshift churches used. 72 pages.

Condition: Very Good Hardback in a good dust jacket. The dust jacket is a little ragged around the corners. The front and rear end papers have a shadow from the dust jacket flap. Otherwise the binding is tight, the text is clear and there is no tanning throughout.
