Although the exploits of the German cruiser Emden during World War I in the Far East are beginning to be forgotten by many, this is not the first book written about the havoc amongst Allied shipping wreaked by the Emden at the time. However this book is able to throw new light on the debacle amongst the allied fleet at Penang because, for the first time, information from French and Russian archives has been included. 318 pages including black and white plates, notes, a bibliography and an index.  Very Good Paperback. Reprint. Originally published in 2012. There have been some minor corrections included in this edition
