Proto-Malayic:

The reconstruction of its phonology and parts of its morphology and lexicon

by

K. Alexander Adelaar

This work is a revised PhD thesis of the author where, as a result of extensive field work in Borneo, he seeks to determine elements of the grammar and vocabulary of the Proto-Malayic language, from which it is thought that all Malay languages and dialects stem.
