Thai Ethnic Adaptation in a Rural Malaysian Setting

-------

Louis Golomb

While there is a fair amount of literature about Malay communities in Southern Thailand, less has been written about Thai communities in Northern Malaysia. Golomb selected a Thai village surrounded by Malay villages to carry out his research for a year in the mid 1970s to determine how the community and its neighbours interacted with each other in both co-operating and maintaining their respective boundaries. pp. xiv & 240 with 5 black and white plates, tables, maps, a bibliography and an index.
