The Straits Times Annual for 1966
Despite Singapore's departure from the Malaysian Federation in 1965, Singapore's leading newspaper's annual review of life in both countries, apart from a leading article reviewing the break up by Professor Wang Gungwu, looked very similar to past annuals when Malaysia and Singapore were one country. With numerous black and white and colour photos, First Edition 140 pages of which about 100 are articles by well known writers of the time. The remainder are advertisements. Condition : The cover has very little wear and surprisingly the spine, which is often damaged,, just has a couple of nicks. The contents page has a paper clip mark at the top and a gift dedication. The binding is tight, text clear and there is no tanning throughout although the pages have lost their original freshness
