The Japanese File:
Pre-War Japanese Penetration in Southeast Asia
Eric Robertson
-----
The ease with which the Japanese advanced through East and Southeast Asia in 1941 and 1942 was due not only to their superior battle tactics, but also to years of intelligence gathering. In this book the author, relying on access to files from the Straits Settlements Police, sketches the effectiveness of the Japanese preparations. 179 pages.
