The Kelabit Highlands of Sarawak were and still are one of the more inaccessible areas of the state. These forest dwellers first became internationally known with the publication of Tom Harrisson's World Within. Half a century later the author spent time among these same people to understand their way of life an in particular to document the significance of utensils, tools and other items that featured in their daily lives. This book is the outcome of that work. Very Good Hardback. Condition: The cover has a small nick in one corner, a little bit of rubbing around the edges and a couple of dirt marks. The binding is tight, text clear and there is no tanning throughout other than a faint bit of tanning around some margin edges.
