The book is divided into the following parts I - Early History, II - Special Aspects of the Chinese in Malaya & III - Recent Developments, 1939-46. There is an appendix on the Baba Language, two appendices on population statistics, one on the sex ratio amongst the different races, another on Chinese clan divisions, a bibliography, index and two fold out maps.
