Chewong of Peninsular Malaysia
This is a classic study of one of Malaysia's aboriginal peoples who, according to the author's prevace to this edition, are probably now no longer the forest hunter gatherers they were at the time when the book was written. This 294 page book contains much we can reflect and possibly learn from including the Chewong's non-hierarchical classifications of people, their management of emotion and their acceptance that each species has its own distinct vision of life.
