The purpose of the review was to make a survey of the ports of the Malay peninsula and Singapore following World War II. The author was the UK Ministry of Transport Representative in the Far East. The report was comprehensive looking at the history of the major ports, their current state and possibilities for development with nine fold out maps of Malaya and the major ports of Singapore, Penang, Port Swettenham and Malacca and figures. 176 pages.
