(On the eve of Malayan independence, the enterprising Singapore publishing duo of Donald and Joanna Moore, attempted, with this quarterly, to launch a journal on a wide range of topics for the general reader. Even though this inaugural volume included articles by heavy hitters such as Coomber, Gullick and Winstedt, it appears that  the venture began and ended with this issue. 83 pages. Condition: Very Good. Paperback. The cover is slightly discoloured with age. There is a previous owner's name written neatly on a front end paper. The advertisement pages for Donald Moore publications at the beginning and end have some tick marks in biro against some of the titles. The cover has minimal wear and the spine is not creased. The binding is tight, the text is clear and there is minimal tanning throughout.
