Between 1897 and 1907 Still was a tea planter and later worked in Ceylon's Archaeological Department, when he toured the country extensively. This is an account of his experiences in Sri Lanka's jungles which not only teemed with wild life, but was inhabited by aborigines and pock marked with ruined cities. Good Paperback. Reprint.
