Although both the constitutions of Malaysia and the United States were formulated in very different eras, they do shares similarities, e.g. dual sovereignty, a bicameral legislature and the doctrine of separation of powers. By revisiting the discussions that led to each constitution being established, the author hopes to be able to determine the guiding principles, ideas, intentions and compromises that led up to the final result. 125 pages.
