On taking over responsibility for North Borneo, Sarawak and Brunei after the Japanese occupation, the British carried out various activities aimed at bringing the area into the modern age. One the these tasks was to complete a geological survey. This report marks the progress after six years of surveying when, among other things, the team produced the area's first regional geological map. Very Good Hardback in a Good Dust Jacket. First Edition. 241 pages. with various pull out maps, tables, graphs, 50 black and white photographs, a bibliography and an index.

Condition:The dust jacket, now in a protective plastic sleeve, has tears at the top of the spine and down most of the back of the jacket. The binding is tight, the text is clear and there is very mild tanning throughout.
