Pulau Senang - The Experiment That Failed, first published in 1980, tells the story of an experimental prison on Pulau Senang intended to rehabilitate habitual offenders. The venture collapsed after a riot that killed three prison officers and sent 18 criminals to the gallows.  New Paperback. Reprint 295 pages.
