The book, concentrating on 123 of the more common species of birds, is intended to be an introduction to bird life to be found in Thailand. Eve, besides being co-author of the text, is also the illustrator of this very accessible book. The first 34 pages cover the geography of the country, bird life generally and the environment in which the birds live. The remainder of this 178 page book is devoted to a description of the birds themselves and their habitats with accompanying illustrations. The book also has recommendations for further reading, a glossary, a complete list of the birds of Thailand and an index.
