Batu Aceh (Achenese gravestones) were gravestones erected in pairs usually on the burial sites of royalty and other important people between the 15th and 19th century in peninsular Malaysia. This work examines nearly 70 sites where such graves exist, comparing them to similar ones in Aceh, Indonesia, and explaining the motifs and other decorations used. New Paperback. Reprint.
