This account of the life of prisoners of war under the Japanese is based on a series of letters that Australian Cecil Dickson wrote to his wife as he was waiting for their reunion following his release at the end of World War II. They not only look back at his time as a prisoner, but present a matter of fact account of how he was adjusting to his freedom and preparing to go home. The book also includes some photographs taken secretly depicting life in a Japanese concentration camp. Very Good Hardback in a Very Good Dust Jacket.
