Availability

Is the book available.?
If the book is advertised on the site, there is a 90% chance it is. If it's not available, we might be able to get you another copy. If you don't want to wait or we can't get another copy, you will receive a full refund within a week.

Buying Books from You

Do you buy books?
Yes. Otherwise we would not be able to sell them! We need to see books before we buy them to check their condition. If you send books that you want to sell by prior arrangement with us, we will return them to you at our cost, if we cannot agree a price with you within a week of receiving them.

How much will you pay for my books?
We will explain our general terms for buying books, if you contact us.

Do you accept books on consignment?
Yes. Several customers place books with us to sell on consignment. To do so, we must have the books in our possession while we offer them for sale. Before advertising your books, we will agree a price with you. On the sale of any book, you will earn 60% of the net sale proceeds.

Ordering Books for You

Can you order a book for me?
Yes. We frequently order books for customers. We charge 20% of the cost to us with a minimum of RM20 per book. When we order a book for you, payment must be made in advance. We cannot guarantee the condition of an ordered book, but must rely on what we are told by the seller. If the seller's description is incorrect, we normally cannot negotiate a refund for you.

Payment

Have you received my payment?
If you have confirmation from your bank or PayPal that you have made the payment correctly, there is no need to ask for confirmation from us. You have the proof. We have never not received a payment, when the customer says it has been sent.

Can I pay by bank transfer?
Yes, but only if you are making a Malaysian Ringgit transfer from a ringgit account or from a UK sterling transfer from a sterling account. We do not accept any other bank transfers because of losses due to conversion rates and bank charges

Are the book prices in Malaysian Ringgit?
No. They are in US dollars. However if you want to convert the USD price into any other currency, please use the drop down menu at the top right corner of the display of any book, where the conversion option is available?

Do you accept credit/debit cards?
Yes, but only through PayPal as you will discover at the checkout. PayPal payments are in USD

But I don't have a PayPal account, so how do I pay?
Probably most customers who pay via PayPal at the checkout do not have PayPal accounts. PayPal accepts card payments without the need to have a PayPal account.

Photos

Can you let me have further photos of the book?
Yes, we can, but it will take time as we do not consider supplying further photos, other than of the contents pages, a priority. The condition of each book should be given in the display for each book. If you consider that the actual condition of a book is materially different from the way we have described it, you can return it to us within 30 days of receiving it in the same condition as it was when sent to you and receive a full refund.

Shipping

When will I receive my order?
We normally post within a week of payment. Delivery within peninsular Malaysia is normally within a week and to Sabah and Sarawak less than two weeks. Delivery outside Malaysia is normally between two to three weeks. We always provide you with a tracking number.

Do you ship to where I live?
We ship worldwide.

What is the cost of shipping?
There are no additional charges on books shipped to anywhere within Malaysia and on most books to Singapore. Otherwise shipping charges are shown when you place your order.

Why have I not been charged for shipping?
As already mentioned, we do not charge extra for shipping within Malaysia and for most orders to Singapore. If you live elsewhere, the site has probably not charged you with shipping because the orders weighs over 6 kg. In such cases we will have to ask you for an additional payment to cover shipping.
