Condition: Outwardly the book appears to be in good shape with a little rubbing around the extremities and the gilt titling on the spine and front still strong. Internally the hinges at both the front and back of the cover are cracked and the half title and title pages are heavily spotted and there is a slit half way down the side of the half title page. The hinges are also cracked at two other places inside the main part of the book. Otherwise the binding is good, text clear and there is mild tanning throughout. None of the pages have become detached and do not show signs of doing so.
