Lim Beng Hai was part of the Sarawakian team that joined up with mainly Australian troops in Operation Semut in Sarawak at the end of World War II. The purpose of the operation was to drop Allied forces behind Japanese lines to train and lead local resistance. In this book Lim describes his role in the operation as well as explaining the manners and customs of indigenous tribes who joined him in the operation. The book is based on Lim's manuscript and edited by the Sarawak journalist, Gabriel Tan. xxvi and 312 pages with some maps and black and white photographs.
