JM Gullick has added to the original 1934 edition of the memoirs of JHM Robson by including a background preface as well as some articles presumed to have been written by Robson. As a government official, newspaper editor, businessman and prominent figure in public affairs in Selangor, Robson was at the centre of early colonial society in the state. His main achievement was establishing The Malay Mail. There are 276 pages with a couple of photos, appendices, references, glossary and index. Weight 0.6 kg
