This book was written in retirement and so covers both events which St John witnessed as well as those reported to him. 301 pages with two fold out maps and a black and white portrait of Brooke.

Condition: Very Good. Hardback. The cover is in remarkably good condition, but the spine has faded with sunning. There are stains from papers previously inlaid on the endpapers. The binding is tight and the text clear with fairly mild tanning throughout.
