Perang Saudara di Selangor, 1868-1873
A. Talib bin Haji Ahmad
An account of the civil war in Selangor between 1868 and 1873. The traditional Malay state was knocked sideways by the competition for new interests in mining tin on a commercial scale. All of this provided the British was a perfect excuse to step in. In 1874, the Sultan accepted a British resident, which both brought the war to an end and transformed the state into a British colony. The book is in Malay. 119 pages.
