Boestamam was best known as one of the stars of the left in the years leading
up to and shortly after independence. Despite forming his own party, his
influence was mainly exerted through his writings, which included about twenty
novels. This is the last of three autobiographical pieces written a few years
before his death in 1983. The book is mainly a review of his experience as a
writer. 122 pages.
