The guide, besides containing information about the exhibitors has information on tourism in Java, steamship companies and railways as well as many contemporary advertisements Good Paperback 80 pages with an index and two colour fold out maps, one of Batavia and the other of Java.

Condition: The cover has a previous owner's name and a date written on it. There is a slit of about two inches at the base of the spine covering and the cover has a bit of dirt on it. There is a former owner's smart personal name plate on the inside front cover. A few of the advertisement pages have medium tanning. Otherwise the binding is tight, text clear and there is negligible tanning throughout. Pages 27 & 28 appear to be missing. They may well have contained a floor plan of the exhibition.
