This classic account of the writer's visit to Borneo just around the time of independence includes history, ethnography and anecdote all written in an entertaining style. Condition: The gilt titling on the spine, though still visible, has faded and there are some dirt marks on the front cover. There is a previous owner's name written on a front end paper. The binding is tight, the text is clear and there is mild tanning throughout.
