The author's account of his experiences as a prisoner of war from the time of his capture at the fall of Singapore. He spent two years on the Thai-Burma railway and in the final year of the war was shipped off to Japan. He never reached there as the carrier ship was sunk, but he survived in the sea until rescued by US forces. 192 pages.
