An account of the Ong Kongsi in Penang and its notable members.
The book's title is a description of the author given by an orang asli, Malaysian aboriginal, while they were fighting alongside each other in the 'Emergency' in Malaya in the 1950s. That conflict was Cross' introduction to 40 years continuous involvement in taking part in counter insurgency work in Asia or training others to do the same. The author describes these experiences in this 238 page book which includes nearly 20 black and white photographs and three maps. Contents:
